Men's Health Week at TRAC
What is Men’s Health Week?
Men’s Health Week is an annual event, aimed at raising awareness of preventable health issues affecting men. It encourages early detection and treatment of disease and promotes healthy lifestyle choices. The week also provides a platform for men to have open, honest conversations about their wellbeing, something that is often overlooked.
Why Men’s Health Matters
Research shows that men are statistically less likely to engage in preventative health care, and more likely to face health issues such as heart disease, diabetes, and mental health struggles. These are often compounded by a reluctance to seek help or talk about health-related concerns.
Men’s Health Week is about changing that pattern. It’s a time to reset, educate, and support men in taking better care of themselves.
What's Happening at TRAC During Men's Health Week
We're opening our doors to the community with a range of free events and services to help men take a proatice step toward their wellbeing. All events are open to the public, including non members.

From June 10–16, we’re offering free health checks for all men, no membership required. These quick assessments can provide valuable insights into your current health and highlight any areas that may need attention.

Health Tips for Men

-
Schedule regular health check-ups—even when you feel fine
-
Stay active with consistent physical movement
-
Prioritise a balanced, nutritious diet
-
Get enough sleep to allow your body and mind to recover
-
Talk about mental health—it’s a sign of strength, not weakness
