We are proud to recognise Men’s Health Week at TRAC and we’re inviting all men in our community members and non-members alike to join us. This important week is designed to shine a light on the health challenges faced by men and boys and encourage stronger habits for a healthier future. It is a reminder that physical and mental health should be a priority for every man, regardless of age or background. At TRAC, we’re committed to playing our part by offering a series of health-focused activities, free resources, and opportunities for connection and education.

What is Men’s Health Week?

Men’s Health Week is an annual event, aimed at raising awareness of preventable health issues affecting men. It encourages early detection and treatment of disease and promotes healthy lifestyle choices. The week also provides a platform for men to have open, honest conversations about their wellbeing, something that is often overlooked.

Why Men’s Health Matters

Research shows that men are statistically less likely to engage in preventative health care, and more likely to face health issues such as heart disease, diabetes, and mental health struggles. These are often compounded by a reluctance to seek help or talk about health-related concerns.
Men’s Health Week is about changing that pattern. It’s a time to reset, educate, and support men in taking better care of themselves.

What's Happening at TRAC During Men's Health Week

We're opening our doors to the community with a range of free events and services to help men take a proatice step toward their wellbeing. All events are open to the public, including non members.

  • Schedule regular health check-ups—even when you feel fine

  • Stay active with consistent physical movement

  • Prioritise a balanced, nutritious diet

  • Get enough sleep to allow your body and mind to recover

  • Talk about mental health—it’s a sign of strength, not weakness
